Hi. I just installed a new Windows 11 desktop. Chrome launches at startup, but no other websites except google.co.uk are visible, and no extensions are installed. I checked the task manager and didn't find a setting to disable Chrome at boot. I also tried the Windows Startup menu. It seems there might be an issue with the configuration.

do you mean settings/Apps/Startup??
verified in chrome to determine if it's an addon?
open chrome settings (three dots menu) or type
chrome://settings/
in the address bar
select system choice
disable
keep running background apps when google chrome is closed
save changes and restart pc to test
additional options here - avoid downloading anything -

Yes, that refers to settings, apps, and startup options. There are no additional add-ons included as mentioned. A brand new computer with no Chrome extensions or add-ons.

Additionally consider these options:
1) Open System Configuration (msconfig) and adjust the run box type.
2) Navigate to the Startup section and remove any entries linked to Chrome.
3) Proceed with applying changes and restarting the computer.
