I recall a few years ago when I could press F11 to switch Chrome to fullscreen, similar to today. At that time, I could just drag my cursor to the top and have the address bar appear automatically. Now pressing F11 brings me to a fixed tab, which feels different from the previous experience. It seems Chrome has changed its fullscreen behavior. There might be a workaround, but I’m not sure if it’s the right solution.

Never realized it was something. Likely an extension will handle it.
