Chrome - Buffer overflow detected in status stack
I recently upgraded my friend's PC, but he's not familiar with computer specs. I swapped out his parts for a new ROG B450-F Mobo, installed the newest BIOS to support the 5800X CPU. It's running at 8GB Corsair RGB RAM at 3800MHz, but only at 2666MHz and paired with a 1060 6GB drive. The power supply is 600W, and the storage stays the same. A 3TB HDD is split into a 1TB OS drive and a 2TB secondary partition. There were a few issues setting it up. The internet connection didn't appear until normal boot settings were applied. Eventually, we found that Chrome isn't loading YouTube without showing the Stack_status_buffer_overrun warning. We've cleared the cache, removed extensions, run SFC and DISM scans, but the problem continues. Uninstalling Chrome is failing because it claims a missing package or service. Other browsers like Opera and Edge work fine for him. Could these computer parts be causing this issue? This is the first time since he got his PC that this error appears.
