I’d choose the 5600x version. The additional two cores aren’t worth upgrading to a more outdated design, particularly since you’re mainly using it for gaming and light tasks.

I've noticed numerous videos and benchmarks highlighting the 5600x surpassing the 3700x in gaming, with one clip showing the 3700x excelling as well. Either option would work, but I'm confident the 5600x offers a superior experience.
