Choosing CPU
Choosing CPU
The price of 2600 in Greece can vary, but it typically ranges around €2,500 to €3,000 depending on the retailer and currency conversion. For your GPU choice, a 1050 Ti is decent for most games, though higher-end options like the 1080 Ti or 1440 Ti will offer better performance.
The price was 120 here, and I was considering getting a 1050 Ti.
I also considered purchasing something around 2200g and then upgrading later once I finish school, since I expect more time afterward.
Thank you so much for your response! Your help really made a difference since I struggle with making choices.
Are you using a dedicated GPU? You might want to look into a Ryzen 5 1400 or 1600—they’re very affordable now and provide 4c/8t, 6c/12t performance versus just 4c/4t with the 2200g. They can also be overclocked. The 2200g remains a great budget CPU, particularly for light gaming when paired with the IGPU.
For dGPUs, ignore any G options. If purchasing a GPU, avoid the 1050ti and opt for an RX 570 or an 1650ti, provided they're affordable.
