I am aiming to assemble a new gaming setup centered around emulation, mainly focusing on A&M. I am searching for the top-performing Z170 motherboard that delivers the most reliable and stable overclocking performance for an Intel i7 6700k. While other discussions have mentioned price limits, what matters most is finding the best motherboard that offers peak stable voltage overclocking capabilities. I have checked several benchmark tests, but none provide a clear guide through reviews to reach my goal. So far, the highest stable voltage recorded was from an Asus Maximus 8 Extreme with a speed of 4.83. Price remains a consideration, but I’m open to finding a more affordable or limited edition option if it performs better. Do you know of any motherboard that could surpass this?

If you're looking for the top choice from ASUS for that 6700k, the MAXIMUS VIII EXTREME is the recommended option.
