You have your components ready and just need a Windows activation code. Steam and gaming are your main uses, so you're looking for a balance between performance and ease of use. Both options offer benefits: Windows provides broad software support and updates, while Steam offers a dedicated gaming experience with optimized settings. Choose based on what matters most to you—stability and compatibility or tailored performance and convenience.

I enjoy Pro since it lets me modify the Group Policy for Windows Update, preventing it from automatically installing updates (like the anniversary patch that caused problems).

Opt for the Home version. It doesn’t seem worth the extra cost for two minor extras. The main distinction is that Pro includes certain business tools—encryption, VM support, and similar features tailored for organizations. Wishing you success with your setup!

You can simply download Windows 10 from Microsoft and install it without a license, though personalization features won’t be available. The Pro version offers a bit more control over forced updates, but you’ll still need to handle those updates. It’s best to steer clear of grey market keys.

You can complete the task directly here on Home. That's what I accomplished.

Checking if you receive all features like Windows Defender and Smart Screen Filter, and whether you can perform all usual tasks.

Don't really need any of that stuff man Personally I don't see the point in paying microsoft $100+ to spy on me and give me less control over my OS than I had in windows 7 which I still use http://www.howtogeek.com/244678/you-dont...indows-10/

Windows 10 works perfectly without a Windows key, just a watermark appears in the bottom right corner—mostly meant to push you toward buying a key, though it’s not a serious problem. Some customization options are turned off, but you can generally do most things with minimal effort and a few hacks.
