Suggested gear should deliver 1080p at 60 frames per second on high settings, mainly. Note: this has shifted somewhat... Thanks to Ubisoft releases mostly.

Have you come across frame drops? You'll likely need significantly more than the suggested amount to achieve 60 fps ultra in most games. This is something I've personally experienced with various titles such as Shadow Warrior, Saints Row IV, and others. Don't think about listing them all.

Recommended settings for BF4 were typically GTX 660 and older CPUs. Using a 660 with an older CPU would likely not reach 60 FPS.

It generally indicates a top-notch gaming experience when you're in the "High" settings, achieving close to 60 frames per second most of the time. This is quite common. Don't treat it dismissively—it's a legitimate concern with strong reasoning.

I addressed it and shared my own experience and thoughts. Another solid case is Wooster's New Order. You don't require an i7 for that game, and i3 or i5 works just fine. Often the specs given are confusing.

The suggested specifications align well with typical power requirements for graphics cards. Aiming higher ensures you have enough capacity for your needs. Understanding the general guidelines helps in making informed choices.
