Hello, it's unclear which OS is superior between 10 and 11 for gaming and performance. Could you clarify your requirements?

I prefer Windows 10 since I dislike changes. It performs well for me, and I won’t be upgrading to a new OS. But it really depends on your needs—like the games you enjoy and your hardware setup. I think a minimal Windows 10 might run faster than a full Windows 11 version.

Unless you're using a hybrid CPU (12th or 13th generation), it won't impact performance. Even with a hybrid CPU, many tasks perform equally well, though Windows 11 offers slight advantages due to its updated architecture and scheduling. It's ultimately a matter of personal preference.

Windows 11 misses some capabilities from Windows 10, such as customizing the taskbar, and may feel a bit less polished in certain areas while improving others. The variation isn't huge overall. As Ronothan mentioned, it's essentially a redesigned version of Windows 10 with more of Microsoft's signature style. Windows 10 remains supported until 2025, and if previous versions suggest it, Windows 12 should follow soon. It's possible the new version could be even better.

@Romikovec Are you sure? It’s odd you’re running Windows 10 smoothly. Windows 11 doesn’t officially recognize your CPU, but you can get around it. Honestly, I’d suggest sticking to Windows 7 if your specs match. A lighter version of Windows 10 might still work.
