either option works, but the Alder Lake variant (Intel 12th gen) runs better on Windows 11 thanks to its scheduler. I still recommend Windows 11 since it offers superior HDR support and additional features, such as a functional MS Store.

I hadn’t realized I hadn’t used Windows 10 until the release of version 11, so I’ve never encountered it before.
