I switched to Manjaro KDE Plasma and really enjoy it. One of the benefits was a noticeable boost in CPU performance, especially for demanding tasks, since Windows wasn’t consuming as many cycles. I considered trying it but my system had 11 cores, so I wasn’t sure if the switch would work. I’d rather stick with an up-to-date OS that still runs smoothly even though Windows 10 is still supported, avoiding the feeling of constant CPU strain from background services like antimalware.
