Hey there, I started assembling my new PC last September, planning for the upcoming R5 5xxx and RX 6xxx lines. Naturally, the CPU and GPU were missing at first. I’ve got a B550 GAMING PLUS Cougar GX-F750 with two 0.5 TB NVMe drives (one from my sister since it didn’t fit in the notebook because there was already an M.2), plus the AeroCool Cylon 4 MSI MAG FORGE 100M. I also picked up a 1440p 144Hz monitor, thinking it’d be worth it with a better GPU—previously I had a 1080p 21-inch one. The main question now is whether I should upgrade to the 5600x for RDNA3 or if the difference in resolution would still matter. Also, I can save a bit by getting a cheaper model as part of a work project from my parents, just need their permission. Still wondering if spending too much on the 5600x makes sense given how GPU prices are currently fluctuating in Russia—some models selling for around 130k to 60k with a real deal, while a 3070 could have cost 45k to 60k before.
