I have multiple displays set up across my setup—three at my desk and three on my sim racing rig. To handle more than four monitors, I added an old 1660ti to my system alongside the 3070. When launching games like iRacing, the 1660 renders in full 3D while the CPU and 3070 run at about 30-50% load. Both sim and desk monitors connect to the 3070, as well as the main monitor on my desk. I've tried adjusting the 3070 as the default device in Windows graphics settings and in NVIDIA control panel 3D settings for CUDA and OpenGL GPUs. Despite these changes, the 1660 still shows up as GPU0 and the 3070 as GPU1 no matter which slots I use. I need my 3070 to be prioritized as the rendering card and the 1660 just as an output device for the extra monitors. I haven’t found any BIOS option that lets me select a main GPU, even after checking the manual. My ASUS Z790 is the model I’m using.
