I have three choices: 1) Macrium Reflect Home (free), 2) DiskGenius, 3) Rescuezilla (uncertain about using it). My setup includes a 256 GB SSD with the main Windows partition occupying all space and the boot partition on the HDD. I need a perfect migration, even with backups, and plan to move the boot partition from the HDD to a new 1 TB SSD. I’m running Windows 10 and want to keep using it.
The SSD brand you're transferring the OS to is Samsung. Both Samsung and Crucial provide user-friendly tools for this process. I installed a Samsung 1TB NVMe drive on my workstation and used their migration tool to clone the operating system. The software required no configuration, and everything worked smoothly—system booted correctly after switching the boot drive in BIOS. I don’t know who developed this software; I’m aware Crucial uses a simplified version of Acronis.
