In short, the installation went smoothly at first but later caused boot failures and strange dmesg messages. It turned out the ISO was corrupted. I chose Kali Linux because of its security tools, but after setup it didn’t appear in the boot menu. Also, my system has a dual-boot setup with Windows and Kali installed separately, which prevents Kali from replacing the Windows bootloader. My hardware specs include an MSI Z690 edge with Wi-Fi, 12GB DDR4 RAM, RTX 3070 Ti, and a WD SN770 SSD (used for Kali).
Turn off the Windows disk, start from a live Kali USB. Enter chroot to reinstall GRUB https://github.com/VarazdatStepanyan003/ising-bench
