When I first got the RAM, it wasn’t great—so I replaced it with a new set from Corsair, which took two months. Now I have a Hyperx 16GB Fury DDR4 2666MHz RAM installed. The issue is, my motherboard only supports 2666 MHz, not the 3000 MHz you had in mind. Hello! It looks like a 3000mhz RAM should be fine, it will automatically adjust to 2666mhz if that’s the supported limit. Using dual channel will boost performance over single channel. For better efficiency, you might want to invest in another 16gb stick, ideally from the same brand as your current setup. This could help reach 32gb, which is great for heavy workloads.
