I'm looking for a budget RAM setup for a simple build. The CPU will be an AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G, the PSU is CoolerMaster MWE 550W with Bronze efficiency, and the storage is a WD 500GB SN550 NVMe SSD—plenty for now. For the case, consider Antec NX310 MOBO with Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2. Your RAM choices include Vengeance LPX 16GB, Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB, Ripjaws V 3200C16D-16GVKB, HyperX Fury 2x8GB at 3200MHz, and Crucial Ballistix 3200MHz 2×8GB. Let me know if you need more guidance!
Verify the clock speeds, aim for a range around 16-16-16-36. B-Die works well for boosting RAM performance, those settings often suggest it's optimized for that.
I’d choose the Ripjaws because I’ve tested that exact kit on three different Ryzen systems without any problems. On the other hand, any model should perform similarly and be close to each other, so picking the most affordable option would be acceptable.
You can find details about the die type on the product page itself. It’s not necessary to overclock much at this stage—just setting up an XMP profile for 3200 and adjusting later when you’re more comfortable with OC settings. Most units are priced around $5 each. I’ve already acquired a 4350G with a Wraith Stealth cooler, and the seller will manage any returns if needed. Thanks!
I think all options fit the B450M board you chose. I was just curious which RAM would stand out as the superior option over the others.
