When no upgrades are available for the third generation and it functions properly, skip the upgrade.
The latest BIOS introduces several improvements and updates.
Consider waiting a few weeks before proceeding. Check if a new version is available. The description "Improved AM4 processor compatibility" is too general—unless your current setup isn’t causing issues, there’s no need to rush. The resized bar is nice, but if your graphics card can’t use it, updating BIOS won’t help much. Agesa is a solid candidate for updates (it also modifies CPU microcode), but the Agesa pack likely hasn’t released major changes for 3rd generation devices. It’s probably more focused on 5th generation now. So while it’s a good idea to update, the chances of real improvement for your setup are low. You’re free to wait or skip the update altogether.
