There are noticeable differences in the RAM used for Mac Pro versus PCs. The kit you mentioned is made from OWC 1333D3 RAM, which is compatible with Mac Pro but not directly usable in standard PCs like your Dell Precision T3500. The error codes you encountered suggest the system is expecting specific memory standards that aren't supported by your PC's BIOS. Dell’s documentation confirms these RAM types work best within their own hardware, and mixing them could cause issues. It’s possible the OWC modules are buffered or registered ECC, which your T3500 doesn’t recognize. You may need to use the correct RAM type or consult Dell support for compatibility details.

It seems the system is likely using ECC, and the T3500 relies solely on unbuffered RAM, which could be the cause of the problem.

That's my suspicion as well, as I was trying to see if the RAM is registered. Unfortunately information on the RAMs nor the OWC websites doesn't show any information.... sad... Now those RAMs is going to be in the RAM draws with my DDR2 rams...ROFL....
