No, it doesn't quite hold up once you've played through it. The narrative falls short after the game ends. While the story isn't outstanding, it's suited for the shooter category, which might not appeal to everyone. The action becomes repetitive fast, with most encounters requiring combat rather than stealth options, except for brief missions where you're still caught in a firefight. The scenario designers did their best with those sections.

I'm checking for spoilers, actually. I was wondering about these games because I played them back in the 90s—like Wolfenstein and Doom. I understand shooters tend to follow a linear path about 90% of the time. I admit I know Fallout can be frustrating, but it's still a great classic for PC.

Sure, enjoy playing Hitman if you're into stealth.

Yeah, but I feel like going Balls out, I already got Wolfenstein and Fallout. But I also got borderlands and Gears of war 1 PC. Sweet deal Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I'm actually planning to play both titles but cannot decide what to play first. I'm doing Borderlands this week, Wolfenstein next, Fallout perhaps a month from now, Leave is pending.

Yes, you can include Fallout: New Vegas with all the downloadable content. It’s essentially the original Doom alongside brutal doom's newest version mod. A top-tier RPG and fast-paced shooter that’s far superior to anything Bethesda has released over the years.
