Windows 10 offers the latest updates, support, and lifetime features. Microsoft is encouraging users to adopt Windows 10, with future releases likely focusing on new functionalities. The main reason to stick with Windows 7 is personal choice or compatibility issues with newer software.

I'm using Windows 7 and it runs very smoothly. With ten users, there were some speed issues and problems like the start button not working or the file explorer freezing constantly.

It seems the setup wasn't done correctly. Proper installation makes Windows 10 perform better than Windows 7.

It seems unclear where the winds 10 install file originated. I’m not sure how to locate it.

Lol 10 usually uses way more power than 7 based on my own tests. It seems like it's using nearly all the disk space in the first five minutes of startup, and constantly needing to load nudes for the NSA really drains the battery. Stick with 7, just like most people did.

If your disk is completely full, something seems seriously wrong with your system. Perhaps you made a clone or upgraded from an older version—this isn’t typical. My usage stays at 0% CPU after startup and only uses about 1.3GB of RAM. There’s also a feature called "settings" that lets you turn off most data tracking if you believe privacy matters.

You should always back up your data and format the disk before installing the operating system, regardless of the OS you choose.
