I'm checking how near the end of life the Ryzen 2nd Gen is. For a 2600 model, it should still work well now, but upgrading to the 3600 would cost about an extra 60 bucks.

It relies on the rest of his configuration. For high refresh rate AAA play, the Ryzen 3000 would be suitable. For most 1080p 60 or esports games, the Ryzen 2600 would suffice.

He mainly enjoys Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite, so I decided to upgrade my old Radeon 480 8G. The monitor I considered was the BenQ Gl2480 1080p at 75Hz.

If the second generation isn't available, we'll proceed with the updated models during the CPU's functional life.

I concur choosing the second-generation chip for your needs. I believe it will provide the most value for your investment.
