Hi, your MacBook Pro 1,1 requires an operating system. You've already tried Snow Leopard but got an error. I'm looking for alternatives like Tiger OS or Snow Leopard without a download link. Let me know if you need help finding them!

Activate the hold command and install the OS. You can upgrade to the newest version once connected. No installation media required; Macs can handle everything independently.

Only a DVD installer is available for Mac OS X Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard. You might look for installation discs on eBay.

Currently it has Windows XP available. That's the only option I could locate for installation. It doesn't work on Macs before a specific point. This one is unfortunately not functional.

I intended to sell it regardless, so it really doesn't matter—it's just something nice to have. I should admit I didn't consider that either. Thanks again!

On a Core Duo MBP, Leopard is the top option, supporting up to 10.6 Snow Leopard versions.
