To determine which CPU performs better, you'd need to compare specific models and their specifications based on your requirements.

Processing involves rendering, tweaking, and playing certain single-player FPS titles like Far Cry and Metro. The GPU will work alongside the CPU—AMD Radeon R9 280X.

Adding more cores to the 1600AF boosts its performance during rendering. You also gain access to budget-friendly motherboards that support high-speed memory, which is crucial. The current topic is: what are the prices for these upgrades?

This question is very insightful. I’m excited about having the 1600 AF installed on my main system. As mentioned before, it has two additional cores compared to the i3, which will mainly boost rendering performance. Having more cores also means you can stream at a higher quality if you choose, without expecting FPS drops—similar to what’s expected for recording as well.

Having two additional cores performs better than a fast clock speed for these tasks.

The 1600 AF isn’t listed in MSRP due to its end-of-life status, though the I3 10105 remains available in inventory (as it hasn’t reached EOL). There’s still a possibility to acquire it.
