Hello, I found Steam offering a sale with the two games I wanted available. I can only take one... Any personal thoughts or suggestions? I prefer city-building titles like Construction Games, though GTA seems full of options. Not sure which to choose. Feel free to ask more questions. Thanks ahead!

I own 1800 hours on Gmod, but it's no longer enjoyable. Maybe I've outgrown it. If you have friends who like playing together, Gmod is a good choice. Cities Skylines is also great, though.

You're considering joining your friend for Gmod, but only one person can play with you. It depends on what you value—having a partner or the chance to play together. It might still be fun if you make it work!

Many of my time was spent with friends. It's tricky to judge since game trends change (besides the obvious TTT and DarkRP) and servers move around. One month it might be perfect with a great server, then later it disappears and becomes poor because everything feels French. If you're still young—under 16—I'd try Gmod. If not, go for Cities Skylines. Plus, Cities Skylines has awesome mods that keep things exciting.

I've spent 2400 hours on Gmod and can say the Sandbox serious build has kept me engaged. There are also many other game modes to enjoy.

If you enjoy crafting on a small scale—like vehicles or buildings—try Gmod. For massive urban environments, consider Cities Skyline. Besides, Cities Skylines offers impressive realism, especially with its traffic simulation. I’ve spent many hours tweaking roads just to alleviate congestion.

It's tough to keep going without it working—really needs more playtime!

It's crashing because of performance issues, even on an older device.

The laptop had trouble running Garry's Mod. It’s best not to run high settings like 4x MSAA on a weak processor, particularly with custom maps.
