You don't, but the reputation is a lot better than G2A sellers from what I've seen. EDIT: Also, a lot of the sellers on reddit have a few extra keys or something, rather than thousands like sellers on dedicated sites like G2A do. Those that have thousands are more likely to have MSDN type keys in there than people selling their extra ones. But still, there is no guarantee with Reddit, as you said.
I don't have a specific lifespan for this CPU, but under typical usage conditions it can last for many years.
In my view, an i7 is always a good choice thanks to its hyper-threading capability. I5s lack this feature, making them unsuitable for heavy multitasking if you need more processing power.
It should manage it, though an i7 would perform significantly better
