It might have been because FC4 sensed familiarity from your previous game with FC3, or it could simply reflect the situation.

Compare it to a buttery experience, though the graphics fall short. It’s quite disappointing, especially given the GPU performance.

Far cry 3 looks VERY GOOD IMO. And it runs pretty well on my system. As all pc games performance will vary but i have no complaints.

The correct CPU and graphics card are in place. I recommend adding 16GB of RAM as well.

I would secure FC4. I played a full hour of 3 before stopping it completely. Currently, I’m around three hours into the fourth match. The high-altitude region in FC4 seems more appealing to me.

They both stumble, which could lead to letdowns. Fewer issues here, but it still messed with me.

Far Cry 3 works well with V-sync. Some titles don’t require it or gain much from it. Also, MSAA 2x performs better than having none.

It runs smoothly with VSync too. FC4 also works this way. Watch the link for more details.

I thought FC3 had a better vibe. The villains in FC3 seemed more malicious, whereas in FC4 they actually came across as somewhat relatable. It’s also worth noting that FC3 feels more consistent, while FC4 still has occasional crashes for me.

I believe the FC4 antagonist is stronger, as it made me reflect on the actions the game encourages.
