I recently changed my RAM from 16GB to 32GB in a 3200MHz setup. It turns out my $300 motherboard can't handle the 3200 MHz speed with all four slots...so which option is better—16GB at 3200 or 32GB at 2133?

I need to know your purpose for using the computer. Are you looking for general information or something more specific?

Assuming you mean World of Warcraft - it's not exactly the most taxing of games by modern standards. The specs claim it'll run on 4GB of RAM and only recommend 8, so I can't see how you'd notice the jump from 16 to 32 in-game, so possibly you should go for the faster RAM. Unless you're doing something else in the background, of course. Honestly, since you already have the equipment at your disposal I'd suggest you try both configurations and see which feels better... there's no right or wrong answer and you should use what works best for you.

You should certainly manage to keep your RAM at a minimum of 2933 on that system
