Hello everyone, I hope you're enjoying your time. I'd love to know your thoughts on Far Cry 6 and Dying Light 2, especially in terms of story and gameplay. Both are available in my area—Far Cry 6 is around 15 euros and Dying Light 2 about 22 euros. If you're considering buying one as a gift, which would you choose and why? Wishing everyone a joyful Christmas and a happy new year!

For someone else, the choice probably leans toward Far Cry 6 since the series is more accessible without prior experience. Personally, I’m drawn to Dying Light 2—it’s a great follow-up and I really enjoyed it. In terms of gameplay, Far Cry offers a smoother, more relaxed experience, though it can feel a bit repetitive at times. As a zombie-themed title, Dying Light focuses on those tense, unsettling moments, with some repetition but not as much as the earlier entries. Both games are top quality, and Far Cry 6 stands out among the series. Dying Light is unique compared to most other titles.

I received both and think it's a big deal—really better than what you mentioned.

Far Cry 6 features an NG+ system and avoids the glitches seen in Dying Light 2, especially late-game issues. I won’t reveal the plot of either title, but Dying Light 2 does have some problematic bugs that hinder post-game play or completion, making it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, Dying Light 2 is decent but falls short in its later stages. The story, however, remains engaging.
