The Corsair 5000D AIRFLOW ATX Mid Tower Case includes a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port, though the Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero ATX AM4 Motherboard lacks enough USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectors. This incompatibility would prevent the case's USB 3.2 Gen 1 port from working properly.

Alright, you're currently not using it, but given the specs I see, you seem to plan on using this machine for a while. I wouldn't want to limit myself, but ISB-C is still on the horizon anyway, so I don't mind. Just my opinion.

My Crosshair VIII Hero has Wi-Fi support and I’m able to use both USB3 and USB-C connections on my Lian-Li O11 XL without issues.

The difference between 4400mhz and 4000mhz is minimal for most users; performance changes are usually negligible unless you're working with very high-precision audio equipment.

Likely an error on Partpicker, it looked strange without the header. Probably I was out walking the dog and couldn’t access the manual. Appreciate you sorting it out!

Avoid exceeding 3600MTs on Zen3, your XMP profile won't function properly and it will cause major issues. You'll need to tweak settings manually to make it work. If you're aiming for premium RAM, opt for 3600MTs with CL14—adjust as needed, they can surpass what your CPU controller supports. Most Zen3 boards cap around 3800, and some won't go past 3600 no matter the voltage. High-end boards from Gigabyte and Asus will still perform well, just with different options. It's all about personal choice. If you don’t have a 5900x/5950x and 3090, think twice about spending on expensive cases, RAM, or memory. Otherwise, you're in for a powerful setup—just be prepared!
