I notice these two motherboards are highly recommended. Which one suits you better? You’re upgrading to an AMD PC and donating your old Intel i5 system. Your previous machine had no GPU—just basic tasks like writing, watching videos, and browsing. Now you need a family PC with a new GPU, even if it’s refurbished. Since you won’t be gaming heavily, you might prefer something like the R5 3600 or the upcoming R3 3300X for solid performance without breaking the bank.

Mortar performs much better. When using 3300X/3100, you might have to upgrade the BIOS, but only Mortar supports flashing it directly without requiring a CPU.
