The scenario involves your sister working on Unreal Engine 4 development. Your setup includes a high-end desktop with a 7600k processor and a full ATX motherboard, powered by a 750W PSU. You have a smaller PC running an i7-3820 with a GTX 1060, which is struggling with lag and bottlenecked performance. She’s considering upgrading her GPU but you’re curious about swapping her PC for yours. Your current setup uses a Mini ITX machine with limited space due to the raid card and outdated ports. You’re evaluating whether your system could support her 3070 or higher GPU while keeping her existing components, especially since she needs more power than her current CPU can handle.

She should continue using the 3820 setup—it performs much better than the 7600k for game development thanks to more threads. A 650W power supply is still insufficient for a 3070ti, and the lowest acceptable one for a 3070 is higher. What kind of 650W PSU does she need?

It's the Corsair TX650M, thanks for the feedback. It seems she's performing well so far. Perhaps we should focus on upgrading the GPU next.

Check if you receive a 3070. A tx650m from that time isn't advised for a 3070, but you might test it. If the PSU stops working, that points to the problem. The 3070ti far exceeds its limits.
