I did it too—I got a 970 and started using AC Unity. The game runs smoothly, so you could try downloading both versions and compare them yourself. Then choose the one that works best for you.

Play through the game using Shadowplay, track FPS stats, and display settings on screen. Performance is poor, especially with a 780.

They should grab whatever items they believe will fetch the highest price, then use those funds to purchase non-UBI games.

Tell him to crank everything up, then enable FXAA, and he’s likely trying to run the game at MSAAx4 or something that doesn’t really deliver much gain. I’ll try it but I’m unsure how large the video will be, and my upload speed is really slow.

Obtain Unity, purchase the season pass on GT2 for $20 and receive FC4 for free from ubicrap.

I recommend going with Far Cry 4, and I'm really enjoying it so far.

I wouldn't find humor in that—it's solid guidance. Black Flag performs better than Unity. I also purchased the 970 and plan to sell the code to fund three or four more discounted titles. I'm hoping your system is up-to-date if you decide to use Unity: http://www.anandtech.com/show/8738/bench...ed-unity/2
