It's simple to locate both online and my gaming-focused rig has a Z77 Pro3 in stock. Which model performs better? The Z series works well for overclocking while the Pro3 appears more affordable. My rig runs an i5 3470 on an ASRock Z77 Pro3 (running at 4.1GHZ) and paired with a GTX 970 DirectCU II Barracuda 7200.12 1TB HDD custom PCU. I’m also open to upgrading for a lower price. My plan is to replace the motherboard, graphics card, and power supply to upgrade my HP Pro 3500.

You're considering switching to a different motherboard because your existing one already meets your needs. Changing it won't significantly boost performance for HP products.

You're considering an upgrade for your old HP Pro 3500. You're looking to replace the motherboard GPU and power supply, aiming for a GTX 900+ or GTX 1080. Your motherboard should support decent overclocking, similar to your Z77 Pro3, with more RAM and at least two PCIe x16 slots. A PSU around 400-500W seems reasonable. I have an idea for the power supply and recommend checking websites like Webuy, eBay, eBay, or Amazon to stay under £150.
