Hi, I just got a NVIDIA code for my GTX 970 that lets me redeem crew passes for Far Cry 4, Assassin's Creed Unity, or something similar. I'm trying to decide which one to play—AC5 is popular but can be buggy, and Far Cry 4 has known frame rate issues. I also don't enjoy racing games. Any recommendations? Thanks!

AC: The performance isn't completely terrible. It's enjoyable, but don't rely too heavily on frame rate—my setup is around 290x, which gives a 30 fps feel even at 1080p. I'd probably pick AC U.

Far cry 4 stands out more in my view. I've tried ACU and Far Cry 4 before, but I found ACU dull while I quickly enjoyed Far Cry 4. I've spent around 20 hours on Far Cry 4 and only about 70% of the game. With some adjustments to FC4, most of the frame drops can be eliminated. Trust me, the performance in ACU is significantly lower than in FC4.

I'll bring the team. Both AC:U and FC4 come with a lot of issues.

I experience around 55 to 60 frames per second on my 970, and the game feels quite enjoyable. Ubisoft has provided updates to improve stability and performance, which is a positive development.

I just played Far Cry 4 and really enjoyed it. I also got Assassin's Creed Unity, but it didn't capture my attention. No problems with the frame rate drops in Far Cry 4, by the way.

when i read AC5, i thought it was about Ace Combat 5 (a PS2 title from 2004 that's still great). Nice work by Ubisoft, but my opinion doesn't care much about a new game compared to an old PS2 classic.
