I'm searching for the ideal motherboard to pair with my new Intel Alder Lake setup. I have two options in mind: ASUS ROG Strix B660-A Gaming WiFi D4 and Gigabyte AORUS Master B660 DDR4. Please advise which one suits you best. If you have any recommendations, let me know. I'm considering a budget of around $300 for the motherboard.

Most people think Gigabyte has poor customer support, lost warranty details due to a security incident, and is neglecting customers with return requests. I recommend avoiding their products.

All my components—mobile, Aio, and GPU—are from Asus, and there have been no issues over the past 18 months.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte model, and I haven't encountered any problems with it. This Gigabyte option is more affordable and offers superior connectivity choices. Asus tends to provide better support generally. It's up to you which one suits your needs more.

I’d choose neither option; both exceed what you’ll likely need for your planned CPUs. I’d consider these alternatives instead—the Gigabyte B660 Gaming X D4 - B660 GAMING X DDR4 (rev. 1.0). Key Features | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global MSI B660-A Pro - MSI PRO B660-A DDR4 Motherboard, ATX - Intel 12th Gen Processors. They’re still a bit too much from a power delivery angle, but they offer solid IO and M.2 slots for future upgrades if required.
