You can adjust your background based on the time of day using system settings or third-party tools. Windows offers built-in options to switch themes or apply time-based wallpapers, while some applications let you customize backgrounds dynamically. If the changes aren't automatic, consider using a desktop background manager or scripting solutions.
On every Windows version (beginning with XP), you can configure it to update every 12 hours, changing at midnight and noon. Assign a different background image for each, and it will adjust automatically. If not, you’d need to install a third-party app to handle the wallpapers.
