Hi everyone, I've developed a simple script to help explain why Windows 11 might indicate your system isn't ready. You can review the information at the provided link: https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11/ and download the latest version here: https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11/releases/latest. I've updated to version 1.1 for more precise feedback, and version 2.0 now covers all requirements except certain CPU models (which are handled as a soft check).

On one machine I have true/UEFI/GPT but the MS tool still says no good. So either there's something else or MS's tool is kinda broken in the first place

This phrase seems to be a question or inquiry. It's asking for clarification on something, likely meaning "why?" or "what does this mean?"

I actually created it today, which means it isn't widely available yet. You can view the virus total data here: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/19de...2538f08f55. The source code is accessible at: https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11/b...tWin11.au3. Detailed build instructions are provided at: https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11#h...ource-code

This means your setup lacks a TPM, doesn't allow UEFI boot, and your storage isn't GPT ready.

You haven't set up a TPM (Trusted Platform Module). Your system is still running from an older boot method, and it's using the traditional MBR setup. This means your computer isn't compatible with modern security features.

The source code for Microsoft's checker is significantly altered. It's likely there are additional, undocumented components. If I uncover them, I'll document them.

It seems you're missing a TPM or it isn't activated on your motherboard configuration.
