I've explored Skyrim in all its versions and DLCs, yet nothing like Elder Scrolls has ever caught my attention before. Is that a big deal?

You have broken the law. You must pay the court a fine or face your punishment. Your stolen items are now lost. Forgetting is death.

Oblivion is acceptable, though it feels heavy. You should also improve the experience to make it more enjoyable to play.

In essence, it's fine as long as it isn't online abortion.

Yes and no. I started modding oblivion in 2007 and stopped in 2011 when Skyrim came out. It is a CPU game so it does not use the GPU much at all. My frame rate is about the same at 4k as it is at 1080p. If you like modding games you will like it. If you don't it is a hard sell. I think it is Epic but I have 243 mods installed. The best follower created for a game is in Oblivion and her name is Vilja. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/28977 If you only add one mod this is the one. She is also in Skyrim. Here is my current character.
