This impressive board includes the TDA 21472 70A MOSFET from Infineon, built with a 10-phase power configuration using a 4(x2) + 2(Vsoc) scheme powered by a PWM ASP1405L. It can manage up to 8 phases but is actually utilizing 4(x2)+2. The design is well-suited for supporting the 3950X.
just fyi, Asus doesnt use doublers. unless Asus did a very wierd exception with that board. which i doubt if i recall correctly. would look at the ITX Gigabyte x570i Auros Pro WIfi. you get a very good VRM for the price and a really good package. no need to get something pricier. and the VRM is more than enough for the 3950x.
This board is also impressive. It includes a 6+2 phase PWM IR35201 in 6+2 mode, with 6 phases for the Vcore (TDA 21742 70A) plus 2 phases for the Vsoc (IR 3553 40A).

they pack two power stages into one phase to boost quick response times. however, applying extensive input filtering helps manage any unwanted side effects. comparing boards with identical VRM settings shows no improvement in overclocking performance or changes in phase count—it's just another approach. it remains a solid value board for the X570, despite being an ITX model.
