Running on a 3700X + MSI Mortar b450m with a trade option for 10700 non-K + Asus Strix B460-H. My current build includes 32GB RAM, 3600Cl16, Intel setup capped at 2933. It seems something might be amiss.

It lacks strong performance metrics. Memory speed is capped at 2666MHz, and adding 10700k isn't a significant upgrade for most CPUs.

No, the variation doesn’t matter much. Your 3700x build is confirmed to work, while the other PC isn’t. Spending $50 is a huge risk with no benefit. It’s far from a good deal.

Sure, it’s functioning properly since it’s a PC from a friend. The price is around 13 dollars, which is actually quite reasonable. I thought I miscalculated the cost in USD. I’m fine with Ryzen, but the temperatures were really high. It might have been a bit noisy, though Intel could be quieter. The only drawback I see is the RAM. According to AIDA, my components can reach 2800MHz CL14 or 3000MHz CL15, and possibly up to 3600MHz CL16 with some luck. For now, it’s handling 3600MHz CL16. I mainly play games, while he handles work. That’s why we usually look to trade first.

It draws mooe power and becomes hotter, which makes it louder. The heat is intense enough that Dark Rock Pro 4 is reserved for stock clocks only, with no overclocking allowed.
