Checking the PC upgrade, are Windows compatible?

Hi there, I have a simple question. I just got an upgrade for my current system and I’m worried about needing to reinstall Windows. As a game designer, I have a lot of demanding software that I’d rather not have to re-download or reinstall. My setup now runs: Core i5 3450 MSI Z77A-G43 16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance LP 1333Mhz Palit GeForce GTX 770 AMD HD6450 Upgrade: Core i7 4770k Asus Z79-PRO 16GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2400mHz. It's possible, but not certain. If you haven't done a fresh installation in several years, consider taking advantage of this chance. A clean install every 1-2 years would be ideal. As long as you remove the old motherboard drivers and install the new ones, it should work fine.

I performed a fresh setup two months back after switching to Win8, which means it's quite tidy. Thanks to everyone for your comments!
