Hi, for a beginner in PC building, I recommend taking a few days to consider your options. You can explore what components would be best and then share your thoughts with me. It’s important to note that having an integrated GPU is a good starting point. The cost of GPUs has risen significantly in the U.S., and even more so internationally, making it a worthwhile investment now. The latest integrated graphics from Ryzen could be a solid choice, though you might want to keep an eye on future AMD releases. The price in Guatemala is around 2,734 quetzales, which is roughly equivalent to $350–$360 depending on the exchange rate. I’m not sure of his budget yet, but any input would help. Thanks for your time!

The latest updates offer limited impact on desktop setups. The 5800 3D Cache model lacks the iGPU, resulting in no changes. Laptop components won't contribute to a desktop configuration. A 5600G provides a strong performance boost compared to the GT1030 (priced at $150 or more). For those aiming for a budget gaming rig, this chip stands out as a solid choice.

If he secures a 5700G, it would be ideal. It's essentially a 5600X with an integrated GPU, which is similar to a 3600. It's decent but not outstanding. On the AMD side, these are the main options for a desktop APU, and nothing better has been announced yet. Intel offers more variety since most of their processors come with built-in GPUs, though graphics performance will lag behind. The 11th generation is on track, though I'm uncertain about the iGPU capabilities of the 12th. It looks like Intel hasn't released any more affordable models for that generation yet, and availability could be a concern even after launch.

Sure, that was one possibility, but the price increase seems excessive even when considering the market. It would take about $500 to purchase the Ryzen 7 model. Sourcing components isn't feasible because many have waived import duties. A $170 markup from MrSP is clearly too high.
