I haven’t assembled a computer in 17 years. I treated the stock cooler with alcohol and placed a generous amount of Arctic MX-4 in the CPU area, securing all four heatsink screws tightly. I’m puzzled by the temperature readings I’m seeing. Is this normal or unusual? Please wait for my case so my build remains on top of the motherboard box. Is what I’m observing typical? Need advice.
Consider temperature readings carefully. These appear to be inconsistent.
These readings could relate to VRM voltages or other components on the motherboard. The OMH sensor tracks numerous temperatures, while the OHM monitor displays a wide range of values. Core temperatures typically appear under the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 section.
HWinfo64 is often compatible with newer AMD systems, unlike many other programs.
