I’m checking the Amazon listing for the ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI. The listed memory clock speed is 2133 MHz, but I see it should be compatible with DDR5 RAM at 6000 MHz. Since your system already uses 6000 MHz RAM and supports higher speeds, this might be an incorrect specification. It’s possible the manufacturer’s info is outdated or misstated. I’d recommend confirming directly with Amazon or the seller to ensure accuracy before placing the order.

It is an error, see here . With EXPO disabled it supports up to 5200 (DDR5). With EXPO enabled, 6000 shouldn't be a problem.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I didn’t intend to place the order, which led to my RAM being restricted to a very slow speed.

The main hint is that 2133 corresponds to DDR4, but AM5 doesn’t support DDR4.

It did appear odd that the pace varied so much, but your assistance in resolving it is greatly appreciated
