I recently bought an ASUS TUF laptop with a Ryzen 7 processor, a 3050 graphics card, and 16GB of RAM. It feels like my graphics card never gets hot or busy. Even though I installed the latest drivers, my game FPS stays low. Forza Horizon 5 runs below 15 frames per second while gaming. The same thing happens with Forza Horizon 4 at around 40 fps. In PUBG, I get less than 25 fps and the CPU also stays stuck near 50%. I'm using an external monitor connected via USB-C to my screen. I tried turning off low power settings in Windows and adjusting things inside the Nvidia Control Panel. The laptop is set to Turbo mode. Can you give me some advice on how to fix this?

First check if your laptop needs a BIOS update by looking at Asus's official page. Then make sure your operating system isn't out for updates either. Next, use DDU to remove all old graphics drivers from both AMD and NVIDIA. After that, go back to Nvidia's website to get the newest driver files and run them as an administrator.

Hey, thanks for replying. I tried that but it didn't help. While testing, I noticed a weird thing: when my GPU clock is set high, it uses very little power (below 30%). But then the game plays slowly or stuttery because of this low usage. When the clock drops below 900MHz, the power use goes up to 80% and the FPS feels much better. I am currently using Afterburner to slow down the clock from Armoury Crate while running my laptop in Silent mode. Is there a fix for this?

Bro, did you figure out a way to solve this? I'm stuck on the exact same thing and need some quick help.
