4th Gen Intel chip isn't even close to being officially supported. There are ways to make Windows 11 work around it, but it's not officially backed.

I know my CPU is outdated, but what exactly does Windows 11 dislike about it?

I recently retired my 6th generation Intel laptop due to the Windows 11 minimum specs. The good news is that laptops are now more affordable. A 16GB RAM machine with a 1TB NVMe SSD was available for under $700 during the holidays. Keep in mind, many devices have dropped the wired Ethernet port, so a USB adapter might be needed for physical connections.
