Checking if my 4.4Ghz is functioning properly.
Checking if my 4.4Ghz is functioning properly.
Yeah I think it's very stable.
I ran a lot of tests and it handled over 5 without any crashes.
On BIOS and Specs it says 35-55 temp, while Specs shows 35-48 idle with a max of 66°C under load.
Bios usually lists 48-53 and claims 3.9Ghz but actually sets it to 4.4Ghz.
CPU Z reports 4.4Ghz but cycles at 4.4/3.7Ghz, which is extremely rare to drop below 3.7Ghz.
I was hoping for a 4.0/4.4Ghz cycle.
But is it okay if it's 3.7/4.4Ghz on CPU Z?
I do get the nice 7.3 Windows experience score.

I think it's very stable, believe it.
Conducted numerous tests, over 5 cycles.
No crashes observed.
Bios and Specs indicate temperatures between 35-55°C.
Specs show idle range 35-48 with a maximum of 66°C under load.
Bios typically lists 48-53°C and claims 3.9Ghz, but it's set to 4.4Ghz.
CPU Z reports 4.4Ghz but cycles at 4.4/3.7Ghz. It's unusual to drop below 3.7Ghz.
I aimed for 4.0/4.4Ghz cycles.
Is it acceptable to see 3.7/4.4Ghz on CPU Z?
I do enjoy the smooth 7.3 Windows performance.
It depends on your overclocking goals—some prefer keeping the CPU throttled back during idle, others want full 4.4Ghz for both cores at all times.
What are your preferences?
Mine randomly fluctuates between 4.4ghz and 3.7ghz during idle or load.
I prefer full-time at 4.0-4.4, but 3.7ghz idling to 4.4 works if it stays roughly there.
It also jumps frequently when under load.
Do you have any idea about this behavior? Is there a specific feature causing these fluctuations?
I know 3.7ghz would keep the score below 7.2, which is good.
I’m seeing 7.3 and it says temperatures are fine.
When I use AMD like my A10 7870k, it stays steady at 4.3ghz and boosts to 4.6ghz when in use.
That’s probably why I’m confused about what Intel is doing.
Anyone? My question is pretty simple. If someone can assist.
Damn, I hate Intel. You guys aren't supportive.

Kidding
If it was AMD, I'd probably have 100,000 answers.
