I thought I had the settings, but when I attempted to overclock I got a -0.125 on voltage and didn’t notice any changes in system info afterward.
In Hwinfo the VID value isn't the voltage you're looking for—it should be Vcore or CPU core voltage. It's best to read from the voltage controller; otherwise a super IO chip reading works too. If you're unsure which one corresponds to which, share screenshots.
I was looking through HWInfo and CPU Package Temp and wanted to explore overclocking. I’m unsure how to apply BIOS changes since they don’t seem to update properly. Here’s a screenshot of my voltage set to normal with a -0.05 adjustment, but it still spikes excessively.
Enhanced Multi-Core Performance is activated automatically unless you choose to disable it. Consider turning it off before adjusting the oc settings.
I performed that action and the problem persisted. I changed the BIOS settings from F9 to F12 and am now searching for a suitable voltage to enable startup.
