No DDR5 support means the motherboard won’t work, and a good CPU won’t cost less than $100, even used.

If you manage to source used components, that could work. I've noticed decent 32GB DDR5 setups selling for $30-40, and motherboards can hit around $50 if you're persistent. CPUs are available for $150 even on new machines, though used AM5 chips usually don't drop much. It's still a challenge to complete the build. Sticking only to brand-new parts isn't feasible.
